This page explains the various policies of Truck Customizers including information on ordering and shipping.

Ordering

We encourage you to place your orders online if you are using a credit card. It's fast, easy, safe and best of all, it's available 24 hours a day. However, if you prefer to use our toll free number (800-497-1780), service representatives are available from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday to assist with your order.

When calling to place an order, please have all product names, product descriptions and product options handy, as well as your vehicle's year, make and model.

  • Never send your order to us via email. We cannot guarantee the security of personal information, such as credit card numbers, when sent through email. Our store will never transmit credit card information by email.
  • Most orders are shipped within 24 hours of being placed (excluding weekends and holidays).
  • At this time, we can only accept orders from customers located within the United States. Additionally certain items are available for shipment to Canada. Please contact us to determine availability and shipping costs to Canada.
  • You will receive an email confirmation shortly after placing an order. This email will contain the order number which should be referenced in any future communication with us regarding this order.
  • Once the order is shipped, you will be provided with a tracking number via email.
  • Truck Customizers reserves the right to cancel any order for any reason. Should an order require cancellation after your credit card has already been charged, we will issue a refund to your card.

Truck Customizers accepts the following forms of payment:

Please note the following in regard to payments:

  • In order to receive your order in the shortest possible time, the recommended form of payment is credit card.
  • We can only accept credit cards issued by US banks.
  • Your credit card will not be charged until your item is ready to be shipped.
  • Orders being paid for by check or money order must be placed by phone.
  • Personal checks and business checks must be drawn on a US bank.
  • We can only accept US money orders.
  • Orders being paid for with checks or money orders will not be shipped until payment has been received.
  • With both personal or business checks, there may be an additional delay of up to ten days to allow the check to clear.

Sales Tax

Sales tax of 6.35% will be applied to all orders shipping to locations in Connecticut.

If your Connecticut based business purchase is intended for resale or otherwise qualifies as tax exempt, please complete and fax a valid Resale Certificate to 888-758-5704.

Using a Coupon

Truck Customizers will occasionally make money-saving promotional coupons available to our customers. To use a coupon, enter the coupon code in the Special Offer Codes section of the shopping cart and press the Add button. Most coupon codes can only be used once per customer.

Certain manufacturers have a strict pricing policy which prohibits discounts, including the use of coupons. In order to remain an authorized dealer for these products, we are unable to accept coupons used toward the purchase of products by these manufacturers. Some of these manufacturers include:

AEM, AMP Research, ATS Diesel Performance, BAK, BD Diesel, Bedrug, Bully Dog, Bully Dog Big Rig, CFM+, Edge Products, Extang, FASS , H&S Performance, Husky Liners, Hypertech, Kleinn Horns, MADS Smarty, Pace Edwards, ReadyLIFT, S&B Filters, Superchips, Tonno Pro, TruXedo, WARN.

Backorders

Most items we carry are available for immediate shipment; however, on occasion an order may be placed for an item that is out of stock. When this occurs, you will be notified via email. If the item becomes available within 30 days, the item will be immediately shipped to you and your credit card will be charged. We will contact you for your approval before shipping any items that have been on backorder for greater than 30 days. Items that are on backorder for greater than 90 days will automatically be canceled unless prior arrangements have been made.

Should you prefer to cancel a backorder rather than waiting for it to become available, you may contact us.

Special Orders

Special order items may take up to 3 to 4 weeks to arrive. Since many of these items are shipped directly from the manufacturer, special orders cannot be accepted for return. You will be notified of any items that are only available as Special Orders.

Order Status

Registered users can check the status of their order under My Account.

Canceling or Changing an Order

If you need to make any changes to or cancel an order that you have placed, please contact us as soon as possible. Once an order has been processed it may not be possible to make any further changes to the order.

Standard Shipping Charges

All items on Truck Customizers feature free ground shipping within the 48 contiguous United States.

Shipping Charges - Alaska & Hawaii

Shipping charges for deliveries to Alaska or Hawaii may incur an additional charge over the posted shipping rates. In the event that actual shipping charges exceed the cost stated during checkout, you will be notified before the order is processed. You will then be given the choice to accept the updated shipping charges or to cancel your order.

Certain large and/or heavy items may not be available for delivery to Alaska or Hawaii. If this is the case, you will be notified and your order will be canceled.

Note: Free shipping promotions do not apply to shipments made to Alaska or Hawaii.

Expedited Shipping

To place an order with expedited shipping or to receive an expedited shipping quote, you must call our toll-free order number: 800-497-1780. All expedited orders must be received by 1:00 PM Eastern Time in order to ensure that the item will ship that same day. For orders received after 1:00 PM Eastern Time, every effort will be made to get the product shipped that day, however, in some cases it may not be possible to ship the item until the following business day.

Free Overnight Shipping

Certain products on the site qualify for free overnight or 2 day delivery and will be processed accordingly. These orders may be placed online at anytime, with no need to call our toll-free order number.

The product must be in-stock in order to receive expedited delivery. Should a product which would otherwise qualify for free overnight or 2 day shipping become temporarily out-of-stock, you will be notified and the item will be shipped using the same delivery method as soon as it becomes available.

This overnight shipping offer does not include weekend delivery. Additionally, all orders for products with expedited shipping which are placed over the weekend or on holidays will be shipped out the next business day. All orders must be received by 1:00 PM Eastern Time in order to ensure that the item will ship that same day. For orders received after 1:00 PM Eastern Time, every effort will be made to get the product shipped that day, however, in some cases it may not be possible to ship the item until the following business day.

In some extreme cases beyond our control, such as weather emergencies, it may not be possible for the carrier to deliver an item on the scheduled day. Truck Customizers cannot guarantee delivery on the specified day.

Only addresses within the 48 contiguous United States are eligible for free shipping offers.

International Orders

We can only ship items within the 50 United States of America. Additionally, we are able to ship certain items to Canada. Please call our toll-free order line at 800-497-1780 to verify availability and shipping rates.

APO/FPO

We regret that at this time, we are unable to ship to APO/FPO addresses.

P.O. Boxes

Since we use FedEx and UPS for most deliveries, we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes. Please be sure to include a physical delivery address when placing your order.

Truck Freight

Some items must be shipped "Truck Freight" because of their bulk and/or weight. If an item will incur additional Truck Freight shipping charges, this information will be clearly indicated in your shopping cart prior to checkout. Should we become aware of any additional shipping expenses after an order has been placed, you will be notified via email and/or telephone of the additional charges and will be given the opportunity to cancel the order at that time.

IMPORTANT: Truck Freight shipments can only be made to addresses within the 48 contiguous United States.

Oversized Items

Due to their size and/or weight, certain products may not qualify for standard FedEx shipping. These items may incur a small oversize shipping fee which will be clearly reflected in the cart once the item has been added.

Estimated Time of Delivery

Orders are normally processed within 1 business day of being placed. In order to minimize the time it takes for you to receive your merchandise, we ship from multiple distribution outlets across the US. While we cannot guarantee the actual delivery time, most orders are shipped via FedEx or UPS and will generally arrive within 1 to 4 business days after they are shipped.

In Store Pickup

In order to provide you with the best possible prices, we do not maintain a physical storefront. Items are shipped directly from our many warehouses throughout the country. Unfortunately these locations cannot accommodate local pickup of individual orders.

Order Tracking

We will email you a tracking number once your order has been shipped. You can also check the status of your order at any time by looking in My Account.

Refused Shipments

Any shipment that you refuse at time of delivery (other than items that were visibly damaged during shipping) will be subject to a restocking fee of 15% of the price of the product(s).

Lost or Damaged Shipments

Upon delivery, please thoroughly inspect all packages. If there is noticeable damage, reject the shipment and contact us immediately. If damage is discovered after the item has been delivered, contact the carrier immediately. Be sure to save all packaging material and make it available for the damage claim investigation. DO NOT install any questionable item on your vehicle. Items that have been installed cannot be returned.

If your item has been lost during shipment, contact us immediately. Claims for lost shipments must be made within 14 days of shipping.

Product Images & Descriptions

Product photos and descriptions on this site are provided by the individual manufacturers of the products. Their purpose is to showcase the manufacturers' products and may not necessarily be displayed on the make or model vehicle for which the product is sold in this store. Some photos may not reflect the exact shape, cut, color or finish of the product offered, but are intended to be representative of the type or style outlined in the product's name and/or description.

Pricing

Pricing is subject to change at anytime without prior notice.

Typographical Errors

Truck Customizers is not responsible for any typographical error contained on the site. In the event that an item is listed on our web page with an incorrect description and/or an incorrect price due either to a typographical error or to incorrect information supplied from our distributors, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for such an item, regardless of whether the order has already been confirmed or not. Should your credit card have already been charged prior to the cancellation of such an order, a refund will be immediately applied to your credit card account in the amount that was originally charged.

Professional Installation

Certain products may require professional installation. Truck Customizers will not be responsible for any damages resulting from the improper installation and/or use of any product sold on this site.

Local Laws

Certain products are intended for off road or show use only. Please check your local and state regulations with regard to the use of any such product. Truck Customizers will not be responsible for fines and/or damages resulting from the use of any product sold on this site, nor do we make any claim as to the legality of such use.

Some products are not legal for sale or use in the state of California on pollution-controlled vehicles. These products will indicate this restriction in the product description or additional information section of the product page.
