The BAKFlip HD® (Heavy Duty) Truck Bed Cover has all of the great looks and functionality of the BAKFlip G2 Model but in a Heavy Duty Aluminum version! The BAKFlip HD Tonneau Cover operates identically to the BAKFlip G2 Model.

The BAKFlip HD looks virtually identical to the G2 when comparing the aluminum panels to the plastic. The HD model also operates identically to the G2. The main difference is that the aluminum cover adds 50% more rigidity and strength.

BAKFlip HD vs BAKFlip G2:

• Heavy Duty Mounting Rails
• Heavy Duty, Powder-Coated Aluminum Panels are used on the broad flat panel surfaces (the G2 has UV Resistant ABS Plastic Panels)
• Panels on HD are 5/8" thick vs 1/2" thick for the G2
• Powder coated pivoting arms (G2 has zinc plated)
• Injection molded underside components vs. rounded aluminum finish on G2
• Extra Set of Clamps (8 clamps) provided for added rigidity. The G2 uses 6
• Can hold 300 lbs of distributed weight (vs. 200 lbs for the G2)
• Comes with a 2 year "Manufacturer Direct" Warranty where all issues are handled directly by the BAK factory (vs. a 1 year warranty that is offered for the G2)
