Superlift extended length hoses have a Teflon inner bladder shielded by a flexible, braided stainless steel exterior. Chafing is controlled by using heat shrink tubing and specialized hose location hardware. A smaller inner bladder quickens brake system response, and the braided hoses do not swell under pressure as much as their stock counterparts. These features improve pedal "feel" and braking performance, which is definitely welcomed with larger, heavier tires and wheels.
