BULLY DOG ® SPEEDOMETER CALIBRATION AND DIAGNOSTIC TOOL ™
IDEAL FOR TIRE AND LIFT SHOPS! The Speedometer Calibration & Diagnostic Tool ™ serves two functions:
• Calibrate the OEM in-dash speedometer to read correctly with the addition of a larger or smaller diameter aftermarket tire size. When going up in size the Speedometer Calibration Tool can calibrate for a maximum size of 38" tire diameter. When going down in size it can accommodate for a 26" tire diameter
• Read and erase diagnostic trouble codes that appear in a vehicles computer when the vehicle has a problem.
Using this tool is simple, it can be operated by anyone who has a general knowledge of tire sizes. To calibrate an OEM speedometer:
1. Plug the OBD ll plug into a vehicles OBD ll port.
2. Select the correct vehicle application.
3. Enter in the new vehicle tire size.
The whole process takes less than five minutes per vehicle.
This tool can calibrate an unlimited number of vehicle speedometers, but it is limited to the number of calibrations contained in the unit at one time. Each unit can contain up to a total of 100 calibrations at one time; and when a unit runs out of calibrations, more calibrations can be purchase on our web site. Each unit, when purchased, starts out with ten calibrations. When a unit runs out of calibrations, simply plug into a PC via USB cable and download more through the Bully Dog ® Update Agent ™. The Bully Dog ® R&D Dept will continue work on this product beyond the release to include new vehicle applications, all new vehicle applications can be automatically loaded onto the Speedometer Calibration & Diagnostic Tool ™ through the Update Agent ™. The Update Agent ™ software is included with each unit sold and contains no service fees for use. The software is also available for a free download at www.bullydog.com.
