AFE BLADRUNNER CHARGED AIR MANIFOLD FOR 2003-2007 DODGE 5.9L CUMMINS DIESEL
Introducing the all new aFe BLADERUNNER Charge Air Manifold for the 03-07 Dodge 5.9L Cummins Diesel. The first in a series, this new line of charged air manifolds utilizes a patent-pending Multiple Directional Vane (MDV) Technology to improve air delivery to the engine. The multiple internal vanes smooth the airflow at critical transition points for up to 32.9% CFM better airflow than stock. The combination of internal vanes and a less restrictive mounting bolt design produced dyno-tested results showing gains over the stock manifold of up to 17HP and 50 ft. lbs. of Torque at 1975 RPM.
In addition to the internal vanes, the BladeRunner offers 5 1/8" NPT ports (2 tapped and 3 untapped) for various probes and injection options. Polished powder-coated wrinkled black finish enhances the “blade” design for a rugged OE look. Whether intended for stock replacement or radical power enhancement, this charge air manifold offers improved performance and engine compartment appearance for the 03-07 Dodge Cummins.
THE MDV™ STORY
Stock Dodge Cummins intake manifolds have sharp bends and corners. Air flows around these corners and zones of dead air created. These dead air zones choke down air and restrict airflow to your engine. Our MDV™ technology uses smooth bends and directional vanes to form multiple air paths through the manifold. These new paths are smoother and shorter, producing much smaller dead air zones for increased overall airflow to the engine.
